  • BARC Pups Mama and Me Yoga Class

    This is a class you won't want to miss out on! Reconnect, restore, and bond in our gentle Mama & Baby/Toddler Yoga class (3m-4 years)— a nurturing space designed for mothers and their little ones. This class blends mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation tailored to support postpartum recovery, all while engaging your child through touch, sound, and playful interaction. We focus on rebuilding core strength, relieving tension (especially in the shoulders, neck, and lower back), and encouraging calm through guided stretches and poses you can safely do with or near your child. No prior yoga experience is needed — all movements are beginner-friendly and adapted to suit your energy level. Come as you are, cry breaks and diaper changes welcome! This is a judgment-free, community-oriented class where both you and your baby are supported. We will also have play equipment out for the toddlers to use during class to help keep the children entertained while their mama is doing their yoga. Please bring: a yoga mat, blanket for your child, and anything else your little one may need for comfort/play. EXCITING NEWS.....BARC Pups has partnered with The Space!     Parents, Let's get those wiggles and giggles out together by joining our parent and me music and movement class! During this class we do 20 minutes of interactive music, where we sing and dance to a variety of songs! The remainder of class (25 minutes) we work on developing your child's gross development skills by having six engaging stations that they rotate thru with their parent. Examples of stations: * Walking on balance beams * Basic Tumbling moves such as somersaults, bridges and donkey kicks * Ball kicking, throwing, tossing, catching, bouncing * Slides, rocking horses, ride on cars * Running games * Obstacle courses *Core strength exercises This is the perfect way to tire out your little one(s) before nap! *A parent must actively participate during each class.

    BARC Pups Soccer – Toddler & Preschool Soccer Skills Clinic Parents, Looking for a fun and engaging way to introduce your toddler or preschooler to the world of soccer? BARC Pups Soccer is the perfect beginner-friendly program designed just for little ones! This 45-minute clinic offers a hands-on experience where you and your child will rotate through six interactive stations, each focused on building the basic skills of soccer — dribbling, passing, and shooting. Through exciting games and age-appropriate activities, your child will develop coordination, confidence, and most importantly, a love for the game! This is not a league or competitive play — no real soccer games are played. It’s a skills-based introduction to soccer, ideal for first-timers. Important Info: A parent or guardian must actively participate with the child during each session Children must be able to walk independently Please bring a soccer ball, water, and wear comfortable tennis shoes Come have fun, get moving, and make memories with your little one as they begin their soccer journey!

    Looking for something fun to do with your sweet, little one? Look no further! This class is the perfect way to spend some one on one with your little one. During this class, we will read stories, sing songs, explore our senses (we will discover sensory bottles, bags and bins) and learn some basic sign language. Every session will be geared towards the season we are in, for example this upcoming session will be fall related themed. The instructor of this class (Ms. Cole) has been working in the early childhood field or the past 14 years and has lots of experience with infants and toddlers. *Each class is 35 minutes long. * It is a requirement to bring a large blanket for you and your little one to sit on.

    This clinic is to teach your child the basic skills needed to play T-ball. At this clinic your child will learn how to throw a ball, catch a ball, roll the ball on the ground, and hit the ball off a tee. We do not play actual t-ball games however we will have fun, engaging stations for the children to rotate through while learning all of the necessary skills needed to play. *A parent is required to be present and active during class. This year's camp will take place in our half-million dollar baseball complex. It is one of the top 5 baseball complexes in the entire state, and this is your chance to play on our field of dreams.   • Brighton F.C. Fall 2025 Travel Soccer

    U9–U15 Brighton F.C. Travel Soccer Program Our U9–U15 Recreational Travel Soccer Program is designed for players who love the game and are looking to further develop their skills in a fun, yet competitive environment. This program bridges the gap between local recreational leagues and more advanced travel teams, offering a balance of structured training and inter-club competition without the high pressure or commitment of elite travel soccer. All teams play within the Western Suburban Soccer League (WSSL, www.wsslsoccer.org). Who Can Join: Players ages 7 to 14 (U9–U15). No tryouts are required- however players should have experience playing prior. Travel soccer is ideal for players who are serious about developing their skills and playing at a higher level with other like minded individuals. Program Highlights: Season Length: Fall - Late August- Late October.... Spring is a seperate registration and runs Early April- End of May Training: 1–2 practices per week led by qualified coaches focusing on fundamental skills, teamwork, and game awareness. Practice days are based off of field availability and coaches preference. Games: Weekly matches against neighboring clubs or towns, offering a travel experience within a manageable radius (45 minutes) We play 4 home games and 4 away games per season. Development Focus: Emphasis on player development, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game Affordability: Lower cost than select travel programs, making it accessible for more families. This program is ideal for players who want more than recreational soccer but aren't ready—or don't want—to commit to high-level club travel. It's also a great environment for multi-sport athletes or those newer to the game. Based in the team and age group can expect a mix of round robins, scrimmages, and competitive tournament play—all within about an hour's drive (of Brighton) Our summer also includes a 6-week league in June and July, giving players even more field time to sharpen skills and stay game-ready. We value hustle, heart, and humor—off the field too. Our team-building events help create tight bonds and strong teammates, not just strong players.     Join us for a welcoming and uplifting yoga experience organized by BARC Athletics and guided by The Space, certified yoga instructors. Connect body and mind by learning the basics of yoga in a new 4 week class series. This class is perfect for those new to yoga or looking to build a strong foundation focusing on basic poses, stretching, breath work, balance and movement. Go at your own pace while working together with like-minded women. Bring a yoga mat, wear comfortable clothing, and open mind!
