Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
Staying active during pregnancy is a wonderful way to support your body and prepare for labor and delivery—and prenatal yoga is one of the best ways to do just that. With a focus on gentle movement, breath, and relaxation, this class offers a wide range of benefits for both expecting and moms who are just getting back to working out after delivery.
Prenatal & Postnatal yoga can help:
Beyond the physical benefits, this class is also a great opportunity to connect with other moms. Whether you're expecting or newly postpartum, you’ll be able to build community, share experiences, and support one another through this special stage of life.
What to expect in class:
Breathing Learn to focus on slow, deep breathing through the nose—techniques that can help manage shortness of breath during pregnancy and support you through labor contractions.
Gentle Stretching Move your body through safe, full ranges of motion to release tension and improve mobility.
Postures Practice supportive poses designed to build strength, balance, and flexibility. Props such as blankets, cushions, and straps may be used to ensure comfort and stability.
Relaxation Each class ends with a calming cool-down to relax muscles, restore breathing, and promote mindfulness. You may be guided to focus on your breath, tune into your body, or use simple mantras for inner calm.
