Brighton Community Education

This is a class you won't want to miss out on! Reconnect, restore, and bond in our gentle Mama & Baby/Toddler Yoga class (3m-4 years)— a nurturing space designed for mothers and their little ones. This class blends mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation tailored to support postpartum recovery, all while engaging your child through touch, sound, and playful interaction. We focus on rebuilding core strength, relieving tension (especially in the shoulders, neck, and lower back), and encouraging calm through guided stretches and poses you can safely do with or near your child. No prior yoga experience is needed — all movements are beginner-friendly and adapted to suit your energy level. Come as you are, cry breaks and diaper changes welcome! This is a judgment-free, community-oriented class where both you and your baby are supported. We will also have play equipment out for the toddlers to use during class to help keep the children entertained while their mama is doing their yoga. Please bring: a yoga mat, blanket for your child, and anything else your little one may need for comfort/play. EXCITING NEWS.....BARC Pups has partnered with The Space! Join us for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt designed “Egg”-specially for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers (ages babies–6 years). This egg hunt offers a calm, safe, and age-appropriate experience where little ones can explore and collect colorful eggs at their own pace—without the worry of being run over by older children. With easy-to-spot eggs, cheerful decorations, and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect first egg hunt for your tiniest bunnies. This low-stress, friendly event is ideal for first-time egg hunters and includes plenty of photo-worthy moments of your sweet hunny bunny(ies)! BARC Rec Baseball Leagues - Spring 2026 4/10 - 5/31 $90/player Deadline 3/8/2026 Dirt Diggers Division: T-ball/Coach Pitch - 5/6 yr olds Snapbacks Division: Coach Pitch - 6-8 yr olds League Details: Games and games will be held on Friday evenings and Sunday in the late morning to early afternoon Players are required to bring a batting helmet, bat and glove to all practcies and games. Practice Dates: 4/10, 4/12, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/15 and 5/29 Games Dates: 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/8, 5/17 and 5/31 Dirt Diggers Division: T-ball/Coach Pitch - 5/6 yr olds Game Length: 3 innings or a time limit (60 minutes) No new inning can start after 45 minutes Snapbacks Division: Coach Pitch - 7/8 yr olds Typically 4 - 5 innings (based on time limit) Time limit (90 minutes), No new inning can start after 75 minutes
