B.A.R.C. Cross Country Ski

Wednesdays

1/14, 1/21, 1/28 - Race on 2/4

6pm - 7:30pm

Clinic #1 1/14/25

Go over basics of skiing and safety in the building and work on getting skis, boot and pole sizes down on paper and send the kids out to do a short lesson in groups. Head back into lodge and have snacks and hot cocoa exit building by 8pm

Clinic #2 1/21/25

Get instructions from instructors and break into groups and head out on Bucks Run. Head back into lodge and have snacks and hot cocoa exit building by 8pm

Clinic #3 1/28/25

Get instructions from instructors and break into groups and head out on Bucks Run. Head back into lodge and have snacks and hot cocoa exit building by 8pm

Race Night 2/4/25

Kids will show up for race at 6pm to receive bibs, skis, boots, poles, and information for a 6:30pm event start. After the racers finish they will get a finisher medal, pizza, drink, goody bag with Metro park items and hot cocoa at the lodge. Rules: Ages K-8, but the small kids 6 and under should have a parent with them on the trail to assist with falls and lessens Limit of 40 kids Parents are welcome to participate in the evening lessons or ski on their own.
