    BARC Athletics Youth Beginner Yoga is for grades 1st-4th Looking for something new for your child to try? Yoga is a great way to get your child moving. There are several benefits of children starting yoga at a young age. Yoga helps children manage their anxiety, improves emotional regulation, increases body awareness, enhances strength and flexibility and teaches children the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. This class is a six week, 1 hour session. We cannot wait for summer! This summer we are going to incorporate a new theme for every yoga class! Class themes will be released soon! *Child must bring their OWN yoga mat, water bottle and small journal with a pencil to every class. Proudly Partnered with The Space!   • BARC Athletics Summer Preteen Yoga Camp

    BARC Athletics Preteen Yoga This program is for preteens grades 5th and 6th. Instructors are from The Space Yoga Studio and are trained to create a safe meaningful experience. As tweens balance the physical, social and emotional changes that come with growing up, this class explores breathing and relaxation techniques to calm the mind, increase strength, flexibility and concentration and introduces poses that allow deeper body awareness to help relieve tension in the body. This will help increase strength, flexibility and concentration. This summer we are trying to make class extra fun by having a new theme every week! Summer 2026 07/08-08/12 6:15pm-7:15pm (TIME WRONG IN BROCHURE... this is the actual class time)
  • Womens Foundational Yoga

    BARC Athletics Women’s Foundational Yoga All Levels | Beginner to Advanced Discover the essentials of a strong, sustainable yoga practice. This class focuses on core alignment, functional movement, and mindful breathing, giving beginners the guidance they need while offering experienced students the opportunity to refine and deepen their technique. We will move at a steady, approachable pace, breaking down key postures and transitions so you can build confidence and body awareness. Options are provided throughout classes from supportive to more challenging variations — allowing every student to practice at their own level. Instructors are from The Space Yoga Studio and are trained to create a safe meaningful experience. 6 Sessions: Tuesdays 07/07, 07/14, 07/21,07/28, 08/04, 08/11 6:00pm-7:00pm @ Hilton Elementary Multi Purpose Room *Must bring your own yoga mat Cost: $80.00
