  • Advanced Drawing Anime with kidcreate Studio

    (Ages 6-12) In this advanced drawing class designed especially for older kids, we’ll explore the exciting world of Anime! Artists will fine-tune their drawing skills as they master techniques and draw popular characters like Egg Gudetama (Lazy Egg Yolk), Totoro, and more! We’ll even paint our own anime-style self-portraits on real canvas boards. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to fine-tune their drawing skills. Students stay after school for this class and will meet the instructor in the art room. Taught by Kidcreate Studio.

    B.A.R.C. Track and Field

    BARC Track and Field K-6th Grade B.A.R.C. Track & Field was developed to introduce young athletes to this sport rich in tradition and history. These programs combine technical development and fundamental techniques with safety and a major focus on fun! Using special equipment, our exercises and drills will prepare athletes for a future in cross-country, track and field events, distance running, while inspiring a love for running and being active. The fundamentals of body positioning, stride, proper stretching, and cool-down techniques are all covered in this unique program. Participants will put it all together for one fun-filled day at the end of the program.

This tournament is aimed at current high school Varsity level players seeking to improve their games. Field is limited to the first 16 entries.     The children will learn basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing and learning to shoot. They also will learn how important it is to work together as a team. This is a one week camp, located at the Brighton Indoor Practice Facility.

Away games are played in communities within 45min of Brighton. All teams will play eight (8) games throughout the season, with a majority being played on Saturdays/Sundays. Some weekday games are possible. Refund Policy: 100% Registration fee refund minus $10 administrative fee if request is prior to deadline date. Minus jersey fee if refund request is made after jerseys are ordered. 50% registration fee refund if refund request is made after practice has started but before first game is played. 0% registration refund if request is made after the first game is played Medical Refund Request - The Director of Recreation will determine the dollar amount that will be refunded after considering the circumstances Game Cancellations: When B.A.R.C. games are canceled due to bad weather, unplayable field conditions, or unforeseen circumstances, every attempt will be made to reschedule if circumstances allow. During this 4-week class you will learn how to strength train safely and effectively in a fun and friendly environment. 30-45 min session utilizing body weight, free weights and exercise bands. Taught by PT Solutions.     Bill Fleck Brighton Baseball Classic June 7 – 9 Ages 9u, 11u, 13u and 14u June 14 – 16 Ages 8u, 10u, 12u, 15u and HS (16U - 18U) $550 per team Option 1: $550 Pay Credit Card Online Option 2: $550 Mail in Check - Note: A $25 deposit is required. Once the check arrives the $25 will be refunded or applied to the $550. In the event the check does not arrive. The credit card associated to the $25 deposit will be processed the day of the tournament. Our tournaments are designed for community based teams Refund Policy: No Refund if a team elects to drop from the tournament.     Brighton Aquatics

    Brighton Aquatics is proud to offer learn to swim classes, lap swims, and open swims this fall and winter. Registration for the winter session of Learn to Swim classes opens on Monday December 18. Spring Registration will open on Monday, Feb 26. Current Brochure With information about the winter and spring sessions. Swimming is on page 22. Please check the level descriptions as they have changed before signing up. Weekly lap swim during the Winter of 2024 will run Monday,Wednesday & Friday from 8:00am - 12:00pm and Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00am - 12:00 pm. Ends March 22. Look at the calendar for schedule updates We will also have some Sunday Afternoon Open Swims. Check the pool calendar for availability. (scroll down to bottom of page) If Brighton Schools are closed due to weather the pool will be closed as well.
